Researchers at North Carolina State University have proposed adding a new color, white, to the traffic signal system. This new color has been specially designed for Autonomous Vehicles (Self-Driving Cars). Till now, red (for stop), yellow (for caution) and green (for moving) colors are used in traffic lights. But now this “white light” can help make traffic flow more smoothly.
