Bharatiya Janata Party has released the list of 71 candidates today. On the other hand, this thing is still being awaited in Janata Dal United. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given symbols to many candidates today. Those candidates include Ramanand Mandal in Suryagarha in Lakhisarai district and Nachiketa Mandal in Jamalpur in Munger district. Apart from this, the party has once again expressed confidence in Rajkumar Singh, the sitting MLA for Matihani Legislative Assembly of Begusarai district. Apart from this, Kaushal Kishore from Rajgir of Nalanda district has been given a chance.

Janata Dal United has given symbol to Rajkumar Rai from Hasanpur, while the party has expressed confidence in Rajkumar Rai from Hasanpur. Manjeet Singh has been made the JDU candidate from Barauli. The party has given JDU symbols to Pan Singh Patel from Beldaur, Arun Manjhi from Masauri, Shyam Rajak from Patna Phulwari Sharif, Komal Singh from Gaighat, Amarendra Pandey from Kuchaikot, Randhir Singh from Manjhi, Ramsevak Singh from Hathua and Narendra Narayan from Alam Nagar. However, the announcement of the complete list is still awaited.
