Xi Vs Musk? Chinese scientists planning to destroy Starlink satellites: report

China is mulling to destroy Elon Musk’s starlink satellites if seen as a security threat, reported the South China Morning Post. A study was published by Chinese military researchers calling to develop capabilities which could destroy the satellites. The study was led by Ren Yuanzhen, a researcher with the Beijing Institute of Tracking and Telecommunications. As per the report, scientists have stressed on the need to develop a surveillance system to track the satellites. ‘A combination of soft and hard kill methods should be adopted’, reported the Post.
