India's female para athlete Simran won the bronze medal by finishing third in the women's 200m T12 event. Defending world champion Simran clocked a personal best of 24.75 seconds in the four-player final and managed to finish on the podium. Simran missed out on a medal in the 100m but managed to win a bronze medal in the 200m. India has so far won 28 medals in this Paralympics, including six gold, nine silver and 13 bronze medals.
