Belarus' Arina Sabalenka has won the US Open women's singles title. This is the first time she has won the US Open title. This is her third Grand Slam title. Earlier, she won the Australian Open title in 2023 and 2024. Apart from this, she has reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 2021 and 2023 and the French Open in 2023. Her current ranking is number two. Sabalenka defeated America's Jessica Pegula 7-5, 7-5 in consecutive sets in the final.
